• 65mm Low Profile E Cut Blade.
• As tilers we use this blade and the 65mm E cut to cut off architraves so floor tiles slide under them instead of cutting around them.
• Take care to only cut off the right amount, and the finished job looks perfect, as though the architrave was fitted after.
• We do this by placing a tile next to the architrave and placing cardboard under it to allow for adhesive.
• The cardboard procetive cover from a hand saw works well when using a 8mm notched trowel.
• When cutting overhang the blade teeth a couple of millimetres over the edge of the tile otherwise it will take the side cut off the blade.
• Use this on 3-4 floors and you will have got your money back in time alone, let alone making it easier and having a better looking job.
