Sure Guard Sealants are easy to use, quick drying and can be applied to grout, tile or masonry surfaces, on both interior and exterior surfaces, without a problem. They are ideal for application on polished and unpolished porcelain, marble, granite, terracotta, sandstone, limestone, quarry tiles, concrete (both new and old work) brick, etc. They have been tested and proven to seal damp, uncured, or existing grout without a problem. They are invisible upon application and will not change the appearance or texture of the treated surface and there is no residue, whiting, puddling, discoloration, etching or yellowing. They will not harm aluminium, wood or carpet, are UV light resistant, and allow the treated surface to breathe.

- Requires only one coat for long lasting protection for only a few pence a meter.
- Installation:
- Use straight from the tin.
- Test in obscure area to determine suitability for the intended use.
- Surface should be clean, dry, and free from any waxes, coatings, finishes or grouting materials.
- Protect any painted or stained surface adjacent to application area.
- Apply to surface in a thin, even coat with a pump or airless sprayer, brush, rag, mop or roller.
- One coat is normally sufficient, but a second application is recommended on more porous surfaces, i.e. terra cotta and sandstone, or heavy walkway areas to ensure complete protection.
- Allow twenty minutes between coats.
- Drying and curing time on a treated surface is approximately 2 l/2 hours, but for optimum results, the treated area should be kept dry and free from soils for at least 24 hours.
- Note: On highly polished surfaces, such as porcelain, marble or granite, two coats are recommended.
- On small areas, buff off before the second coat is dry.
- For larger areas, let it dry and cure for 24 hours.
- If necessary, any excess can be easily removed with a damp cloth or buff off.
