Sigma Tile Cutter Insight: A Memorable Visit to Sigma HQ

At Pro Tiler Tools, we’re proud to work with some of the best brands in the tiling industry, such as Sigma. Recently, we had the fantastic opportunity to visit Sigma’s headquarters and factory in Italy, to get further insight into the renowned Sigma tile cutter range, and other great products, as well as find out even more about the company as a whole.
We were kindly invited by the Sigma UK team and had the pleasure of travelling with Derek and Ross, who helped guide us through the experience. What made the visit even more special was meeting the family behind Sigma. Two brothers now run the company, which was originally founded by their father back in 1964. Today, the legacy continues with the next generation, including Luca, the founder’s grandson, who took the time to show us around.
A Blend of Innovation and Tradition
The Sigma factory was everything we hoped it would be and more. It’s a perfect blend of cutting-edge robotic technology and hands-on craftsmanship, a true testament to their commitment to quality. We came away from this visit with a renewed respect for the Sigma brand, as not just a manufacturer, but a family business built on craftsmanship and a deep commitment to the tiling trade.
