BAL Primer 1C High Performance Primer For Use With Waterproof 1C 1L

BAL Primer 1C is a rapid-drying red primer that helps reduce porosity and stabilise backgrounds prior to the application of BAL Waterproof 1C waterproof coating. Use on plaster, fibre cement boards, BAL Board (tiling side) before waterproofing.

Rapid drying in only 15-30 minutes for fast-track project completion. The red colour ensures coverage is easy to see. Undiluted, typical coverage is 6m2 per litre. Easy to apply with a brush, roller or sponge.

Use For:
- Preparing FLOOR and WALL tiling backgrounds prior to waterproofing with BAL WATERPROOF 1C
- Suitable in interior DRY and WET environments when used in conjunction with BAL WATERPROOF 1C. Providing stability to friable surfaces and reducing the porosity of absorbent backgrounds/bases.

NOT suitable for:
Metal, painted surfaces, existing non-porous surfaces (existing glazed or porcelain tiles), epoxy coatings, some manufactured board systems (check with the manufacturer first) and in total immersion areas (e.g. swimming pools)
