Durabase CI-H matting allows the easy installation of loose electric underfloor heating cables in the floor or wall while also providing a waterproof decoupling crack isolation layer between the finished flooring and a multitude of subfloors.
Loose cables allow the installer or end user to have complete control of the layout, choosing where to place cables to avoid unnecessary installation under baths or cabinets.
Used in conjunction with Dural sealing tape this ensures the matting installation is waterproof and ideal to use in wetrooms and the bathrooms.
The studs are designed to provide a gentle bending radius for any electric cable from 2mm to 4.5mm diameter to be installed, adhering to all-electric cable manufacturers' guidelines. The spacing and overhang of the studs are designed to allow the cable to be easily installed and gently held in place while the installation is finished.
