Bostik A100 Showerproof is a ready-mixed wall tile adhesive designed for fixing ceramic wall tiles to most internal surfaces. Ideal for a wide range of substrates in kitchens, toilets, domestic showers and bathrooms.
Suitable for use in kitchen and bathroom areas and for domestic shower walls, when applied by the solid bed method. It is not impervious, however, and in such cases, the backgrounds must also be water resistant.
The adhesive is suitable for most surfaces including plaster, sand and cement rendering, plasterboard, old glazed tiles, and tile backer boards.
Bostik A100 Showerproof is suitable for ceramic tiles and some porcelain tiles (up to 150mm x 150mm). Bostik A100 Showerproof should not be used for fixing onto floors nor should it be used externally or in areas where tiling is continuously immersed in water e.g. swimming pools. For these applications use a Bostik cement-based adhesives i.e. Bostik MC310 One Part Flexible.

Open Time: 20 minutes at 20°C
Drying Times:
- 24 hours at 20°C on standard backgrounds
- 72 hours at 20°C on impervious backgrounds
Storage/Shelf Life: Store and transport this container in a secure upright position. Store for up to 24 months from date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened packaging under cool, dry conditions within the temperature range 5°C to 30°C. Protect from frost.
Coverage Examples:
- 2.5 Litres will cover 2.4m² with a notched trowel and 1.2m² as a solid bed application
- 5 Litres will cover 4.9m² with a notched trowel and 2.4m² as a solid bed application
- 10 Litres will cover 9.8m² with a notched trowel and 4.9m² as a solid bed application
- 15 Litres will cover 14.7m² with a notched trowel and 7.3m² as a solid bed application
